Cool How's your summer?

Hello everyone! Sorors, Friends, and all-- how was your summer? I know that summer isn't officially over yet but did anyone do anything special or different?

This was the first summer in a long time that I didn't work. I did absolutely nothing! I slept and ate and watched tv and hung out and all sorts of things that I don't get to do during the school year. I rarely talked on the phone or tuned into the internet (breaking my GC addiction )

I spent some serious quality time with me! What did you do?

I took time off of work to spend time with my son and nephew during the summer.

Well.....

I stayed really really really busy, and had fun when I could. I am working on and learning so many new things. This Fall is going to be great!!! God is good!

my summer was tight work!

this summer, i spent in school, taking those last 4 credits for my degree and it all culminated with my graduation in august.(i know you all are tired of me talking about it, but i'm still so excited!)

since i knew the undergrad days were about to be history, i did all the stuff I NEVER DID BEFORE: road tripping, staying out until the next morning, going to every party that was free or involved free food... i went out with a BANG this summer... and i made time to do the part-time job thing...
summer '03 will live on in infamy for me...

In all honesty, it was a rough summer. But, it picked up a little at the end.

weather wise, this summer sucked. here in new jersey, it rained and rained and rained, during the week and especially on the weekends. on top of that, it was cold. i can only remember a few days of truly good weather. this was one of the wettest and coldest summers that i can remember. i had on a wool sweater today and was vexed that i left my coat at home.

Well, I would have been happy to see some rain-or some cold!! A couple of days, our weather was hotter than Dallas and Phoenix, and we are waaaayyy north of both!!

At least it didn't stop me from having a great summer, but it did curb my outside days ...
