Blind date from hell (for me anyway):

He comes to pick me up and he's wearing loafers, jeans with a hole in the knee and an ugly rugby shirt. He looks like Zach Morris from Saved by the Bell, clothes and facial feature, and ACTED like him too. I'm SO not the preppy type. Dressing nice is good...but early 90's preppy is NOT good.

Not even! He just wasn't interesting. Had nothing upstairs. He could ask and answer general questions, favorite music, movies, whatever, but other then that he was really superficial! I know the clothes thing was kind of superfical of me, but it was just too distracting...and the boring converstation didn't help.

I started seeing this guy after a blind date and he was nice and all... kinda cute... then he started talking like long term crap. It was February and he was already making my summer plans for me. And Im spontainous person, not a commitment person so... this totally freaked me out...

I lost a friendship over that too... oh well.

My friend Monica and I were joking with our friend Dan that he should set us up with some of his friends.

He sets up a group of us to go to this nice bar downtown. It was supposed to work out that it would be me and this guy Yev (Russian) and Monica and Bob.

Well it doesn't work out that way. I have ZERO attraction to Yev and think he's an ass, Monica likes him. Monica thinks Bob is boring and too much of a jock for her. I think Bob's the best thing since sliced bread.

How things ended up:
Monica and Yev- he was pissed that she wouldn't go home with him that night. That ended that.

Me and Bob- I pestered my friend Dan to pass on a good word for me. He calls Bob and says, hey, you gotta call this girl. Bob was going to call him and ask for MY number anyway!

So Bob called me, we set up a date, and the rest is, how they say, history.

This was seriously two weeks ago to this day that we all went out that faithful time. Bob and I are already one of those patheticallly cute couples. Oh well, we're both happy!

Had one of those once. She even got a second date. Then she got kind of weird. Called me ALL the damn time, wanted to talk too much. So eventually I didn't take her calls anymore and just kind of broke it off (she had serious co-dependancy issues).

A year later, she was married with child in a trailer park in Wichita, Kansas.
