What's you fav GC signature?
What's you fav GC signature?
A few of my favorites:
Don't worry about the world ending today; it's already tomorrow in Australia.
Fightin' Texas Aggie Sigma Nu's-The Best $$$-to-Friend Ratio on Campus
"It's the good girls who keep the diaries. The bad girls never have the time."
Wearing a badge doesn't make you worthy of being a sister...
Being a sister makes you worthy of wearing that badge!
---------------
Of course, there's a few that go completely over my head:
"Boy, we rang the bell, didn't we?"
-Kit to Holly, Badlands
----------------
And a few that suck:
Camel Cigarettes Rule
--------------
Some Teke used to post something like:
"Training leaders and pleasing women since 1899"

"Boy, we rang the bell, didn't we?"
Badlands. It's not just a place. It's also a frame of mind. 1973
From the Movie: Kit (Martin Sheen) is led over to a police car where a handcuffed, sullen Holly (Sissy Spacek) leans on the fender. Reunited again, she shyly looks down without responding to Kit's questions:
Don't worry now, I'm gonna get you off these charges. There's a whole lot of other boys out there waitin' for ya. You're gonna have a lot of fun. Boy, we rang the bell, didn't we? I'll say this though, that guy with the deaf maid? He's just lucky he's not dead, too. Course, uh, too bad about your dad...We're gonna have to sit down and talk about that sometime.

I like James' signature the best I think
"The difference between hope and despair is often a good nights sleep . . ."
But I also love AggieSigmaNu's signature as well!

Gee, I was going to change my sig, but if it's going over people's heads (and making them go rent Badlands) I'll definitely leave it on.
The ones I like are the quote from "Shag" (I'm sorry but I can't remember which KD uses it) and the one that says "Please remove the slam on DZ in your sig, it is not appropriate for the Greek Life forum!"

Well my signature is as much an observation as well as gentle advice lol and a lesson lol. . . in the same spirit and because it would be crass to praise my own quote:
I like CrimsonTide4's Signature: "This too shall pass" .
That is both some tremendous advice and a very accurate observation of life lol.
CT4: do you know the story behind that quote? Its cute.

Artimis told me. I took it for the spiritual meaning. It was a book title, but I had heard it before the book. I picked it because I was going through some things, and I had to remind myself that THIS too will pass.
Glad you like.
