Question I was in a national sorority....

I was in a national sorority, the EE chapter of Alpha Sigma Alpha at Emporia State University and am now a member of Delta Rho, a local sorority at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. (It's a really long story of how that happened!) I see wonderful things in Delta Rho, but we're still babies founded only in 1989. I didn't really care for Alpha Sigma Alpha in a lot of ways, but the were pretty structured, which we need to be. How can I take my good experiences from ASA and apply it to D-Rho without saying, "Well, this is the way ASA does it, so I think we should too." I don't want to sound like a know it all, I'm very new to the sorority, but I think my experiences can help. HELP ME!

just say you have this really good idea and think it might benefit the house. no need to cite where the idea was from. if your sisters know you were part of a national at one point, they might get the idea that you are taking examples from ASA. It shouldn't be a problem.
