Eyebrow Stencils

Have any of you tried them?
Do they work?
Would you recommend them?

I'm not sure. I didn't even think of that. I don't want to draw in eyebrows...I have eyebrows! I assumed they were used to help you create the shape you want, with your own eyebrows.

Hmmm...maybe they aren't such a good idea?

Perhaps I should stick to the salon.

I think you can use eyebrow stencils to pluck your eyebrows in a certain shape.. but I've never tried them before

How would they work? If you put the stencil on your eyebrow, wouldn't it cover the part you wanted to get rid of?

hehehe maybe i'm just confused and have no idea what i'm talking about

Maybe they can be backwards stencils? like the part you want to keep there is solid and you just pluck around it?

I'm coming up with all kinds of crazy things

Yeah, so how would you keep that part on your eye brow then? If you tape it on, it covers some of your eyebrow, right? If you glue/tape it on back, OUCH!

texas*princess: You are not hallucinating...they are out there! However, I cannot remember the name of them, but a sister of mine had them. They worked great! I'm going to e-mail her and get to the bottom of this...because I want some archy 'brows too, darn it!

The best thing to do if you want some arch in your eyebrows is to:
1.) have it done professionally to your liking
2.) Buy a white eyeliner pencil

As the hair starts to grow back in, take the white eyeline pencil and "draw" out the shape of your eyebrow. Then, pluck any hairs that are below the white lines.

I have been doing my own eyebrows for years and this is how I started off. Now, I just "freehand" it and don't use the white eyeliner.
