How do I get in contact with John? Also, is there any way to have a private forum or are they all private.

There are no private forums here - try starting a yahoogroup.

Zeta, welcome to GC!

I'm afraid your request will in all likelihood be denied. I've never seen a local or small national get their own forum. GC's mission is not really centered around taking care of individual chapters, but uniting all of greekdome.

For those of us in large national organizations, there are brothers/sisters around the country that we'll never see or meet, so having our own forum serves the mission of the board.

But welcome to you and the rest of your sisters if they come! I'm sure you can get great ideas and advice in the locals/up & coming nationals forums. Enjoy GC!

Well, thanks for welcome me and my sisters to GC. We are not really considered a local becuase we have more than one chapter but it's ok. I didn't know you had to have a certain number of chapters to get a forum cause the truth is we have to keep in touch with our sisters too. They all don't live where the school is located either. So, i think it is a little unfair. I guess I will just us my yahoo groups for my new Mu pledge class.

Welcome!

Hi Zetagymnast! First and foremost...welcome to GC!

I have to echo what the GCers have previously said, right now your request may be denied only because the amount of members of your org. that visit this site.

I believe that John is very fair when creating individual forums for GLOs.

We like seeing Greek life expand across the campuses, so when your GLO expands with chapters and members, perhaps a forum can be created then! Yahoo and MSN are still wonderful avenues to keep in touch with your members. A lot of us participate in online discussions on other message boards and chat rooms outside of GreekChat.

Till then, please stay and enjoy the discussions GreekChat has to offer!

John is the Site Administrator. His login name, which is what you would pm him at, is John.
