Met a husband of a Chi Omega story

I was working today and on a roll. This guy walks in and is at the Rolex counter and so he and I start to chit chat. We talk about everything from where he's from, to which schools his daughters go to, etc. So we were talking about his middle daughter who goes to my school and I asked him if she was in a sorority. He said she was and I asked which one. He couldn't remember and so since there are only four on my campus I started listing them off...starting of course with Chi Omega . He goes, no...I know it's not Chi Omega because that is what my wife is. And I smiled and he goes, are you one? And of course I said YES! He chuckled and said "what a small world". It just made my day. He was SO nice to me. Even though he didn't buy the Rolex it was nice to meet someone married to a Chi Omega! She's a lucky lady!

Just had to share

What a great story! Did you ever find out what sorority his daughter was in?

I love running into folks with ties to Chi-O. I will tell you the coolest thing is I had a job a few years back where I went for the interview and got the job. A few months went by, and I was in the cafeteria eating and I was reading on a Chi-O alum newsletter. My female supervisor came in and gasped. At first, I was concerned she may fuss about my reading the Chi-O material (even though I was on break), but she squealed she was a Chi-O too! We became very close friends over my time of service with the company. (However, I have a new place of employment now.) Anyhow, it just shows you what a small world it really is! Be proud to say you are a Chi Omega!

Lady Blondie- the same thing happened to me! Last year, I was new to my job and was busy trying to soak everything in. Well, one of the SVPS, came up to me and said, "I was looking at your resume, and I see that you're a Chi Omega...so am I!" She introduces me as one of her sisters.
