W&L Greeks On TV!!!!

Good Morning America is coming to Washington and Lee University, one of America's top Greek schools (about 80% of the school is involved in 5 NPC, 15 NIC, and 1 service GLO). The programming starts in Lexington at 7:00 and is on the W&L campus specifically from 7:50-9:00. I will be there in an "I love Pi Phi" shirt carrying a neon yellow sign!!! Watch for me and all my friends and all the wonderful GLOs at W&L!!!

Having been to the W&L campus it's not hard to imagine that EVERYONE would be in GLO's. The dorms are pretty crappy (stayed in them for a Sigma Nu convention 2 years ago) and the fraternity and sorority houses are palaces.

It's also the birthplace of Sigma Nu, ATO and KA Order

SN and ATO at VMI and KA at W&L.

Well at least the ones we stayed in weren't so great... Over accross the street from the President's house. No A/C (or at least they didn't turn it on)... Cramped. Just kind of old.

At least for what you're paying in tuition

UNCCZTA--did you graduate from Statesville High? I went to North Iredell. UNCC is a really fun school, I have a lot of friends that go there. One is a Delta Zeta, but we've kind of lost touch. I don't know what her chapter is like or anything!

ktsnake--hehe, the dorms are very sentimental around here. I know they don't compare to a lot of other colleges or even our upperclass housing. Actually, I'm hoping to be a Dorm Counselor to freshmen next year. I liked them 'cause they were so convenient to classes and all. Plus a lot of people loved 'em cause 60% of the freshmen class can get singles. I had a double, but it was a corner room and huge. Three windows. It was sweet! The air conditioning thing is a problem--but I live in a old house whilst at home, so I'm used to that--there was more of a problem with heating in the winter, actually!! BRRRR!!!!

Are you coming to Sigma Nu convention this year?... Sigma Nu and my chapter here are practically engaged.
