Hey Teke's,

I'm from the Gamma Nu chapter in Toledo, ohio. We are a new chapter infact we are only a year old. We were originally started in 1950 but died out about 10 years later. The guys we have now brought TKE back to life in toledo again. Anyways, to the point, i was wondering how to go about finding our alumni from back in the 1950's? it would be great to be able to find them so we can show them we are back!! If you have any idea's let me know. thanx. Peace

Contact IHQ. They should have a list of guys from that time and at the ver least last known adress. Some of them probably have updated their adresses with IHQ so they will be easy to find.

Lots of our chapters are returning after a twenty some years of rocky existence--and returning STRONG
I remember visiting your chapter in 57-8-9, and am so damned old I remember Clarence Mayer, Dr. McNutt, Tex Flint, William
Salter Wilson, Ralph Chester Williams, Lawrence Wilbur Tuesburg...all great Tekes.
If you have a house, set aside Sat. am. for Alums to drop in for a
cup of coffee...Alums, do bring donuts & danish, please, if you will....You will hear lots of stories and learn much, too.
If you do not have a house, pick a place to gather. It will soon
become a habit.
Even old Tekes are pretty good guys and I am sure that the old
GN Tekes will be thrilled you are all back.
Now, return to greatness, and try this, do!

I actually met a guy from ohio university, who's father is an alumni TKE at Toledo, he is a phi tau, cause TKE is no longer at OU
pretty cool guy though

make sure you get a decent website up for contact, let your alumni gather information from the site on their time and contact each other too.

Websites and forums are huge tools now to get and maintain interest. just MAKE SURE TO UPDATE IT!!!

nothin's worse than lookin for info on a chapters site and reading

you can imagine how that reflects on a chapter as opposed to say, Lambda's website, which if you haven't seen, is just amazing...

Try checking with the UT alumni affairs...that will probably get you more current addresses than IHQ...

When we went through this, IHQ gave us current contact information for about 300 alumni.....alumni affairs: 700ish =)
