Talking What should I name my new fish???

My roommate and I went to Wal-Mart tonight to get some cheap candy and generic ibuprofien, and we happened to be walking by the fish section...and I decided I wanted to get a fish.

I ended up getting one of those Betta fishes. It's got red bottom fins, and the top and body are kind of a bluish purple. It's really iridescent.

I had this really cool and huge Coca-Cola tapered glass at home, and I put him in there with some bright pink, green, purple and blue rocks.

Now, nerd I am, I want to give him a name...but for the life of me I can't pick one out.

Any suggestions?

I had two betas and I named the male Wildthing because he had all sorts of pretty wild colors. And I named the female electra because she looked like she had an electric stripe going through her.

Those are my suggestions...or perhaps they'll lead you onto new ideas!

Good luck!

My friend bought a fish for her roommate last Friday and she named it Scuba Steve. Unfortunately, Scuba Steve has already passed on because he accidentally went down the drain when her roommate tried to put him in her fish tank.
Poor Scuba Steve.

Name him Alpha. That way you can introduce him by saying, "This is Alpha, my Betta."
