Hubby & I have been waiting to see RESPECT, and decided to actually go to the theatre last night. It was a little scary, but there were so many assurances that the place was cleaned on the half hour. Sadly, the theatre could have been cleaner, but the movie more than made up for it!
In case you've been living under a rock, RESPECT is an Aretha Franklin biopic. It's long (two & a half hours) but we really didn't notice. We both thought we knew a lot about The Lady Of Soul prior to last night, but still learned a lot.
Bottom line, if you like music, you'll enjoy RESPECT.
