Watermelonfest
Hello Chi O Cuties!! This weekend was the Lambda Chi watermelonfest. It is a weekend of events where each sorority competes. The things we got points for were: Placing in the Pledge Pageant, the painting of your "watermelon man" the Over/under, the tug of war, seduce the watermelon, the watermelon eating contest, best dance/cheer, watermelon relay race, and watermelon shotput. It began last night with the pledge pageant which was ABSOLUTELY hilarious! I was in it and had a BLAST!! One of our girls placed second so we got points for that. This morning we got up at nine, each sorority gets 5 "coaches" who are Lambda Chis who come over and cook them breakfast. Then we each got a "watermelon man" who was a pledge and we had to paint him...we made ours wear a black thong and we painted the front of him red with seeds, and the back of him green. He was by far the best...we got first for that!! We also won the tug of war (We all are obsessed with the gym, so we have MUSCLE haha!!) We also won the best dance/cheer, ours was really cute, the words were Lambda Chi's they are the best, we all love watermelon fest, chi omega we're gonna win, so step away, and try again! We had a really cute dance that went with it too. We also won the watermelon eating contest (Which is really ironic since our girl who did it weighs about 100lbs haha!!!) and seduce the watermelon. We got second in everything else. Needless to say we won by a LOT! Ya Chi Omega!! Watermelonfest Champs 2 years in a row!!!!
