Exclamation Confused for the future

Good evening.

I ask for your help today because I love DST. I grew up without knowing about sororities and fraternities until I became a senior in high school. I was then introduced to DST and other sororities.

I was immediately impressed with the confidence, and naturally helpful manner the members of DST held in their actions. After my first meeting with a few DST alumni members, I felt that I found the perfect place for me to be, to meet friends that were like me, and somewhere where I could grow intellectually.

Now that I am in college, I have started communications with your fellow sisters, and although they are quite impressive, what I heard from others worry me. Of course I realize DST does not accept hazing, but the stories about cars being wrecked and inappropriate activity have me worried about pledging.

Before I believe what these other people say about your sorority, I just wanted to hear from REAL members about if I should expect hazing, or how your experience has made you stronger. I believe that the rush period is a time of bonding, but so many people saying other things has me doubting myself and my possible decisions in the future

Please reply!

Thankyou2006
