swimfan???

ok i don't wanna get a lot of flack for this but did anyone go see that movie??? it has gotten horrible reviews in my area and looks pretty predictable. (as all teen movies tend to be these days.)

a bunch of my sisters and i wanna go see it cuz we think jesse bradford is hot. But is the movie even worth the $4.50 matinee (sp?) price?

*edited for teke4life j/p*

I actually think it looks pretty good. Why not take a gamble with the $4.50 and go for it? If you think the male lead is a hottie, and he's in a teeny li'l bathing suit that'll be worth the price of admission in itself, right?

I love "Fatal Attraction" so that is why I want to see it, but is it too 'teened' out?

actually you would receive a lot of "flack" for your comment, not "slack"... only you can prevent malaprops!

not worth it

I work for my online school newspaper and went to see "SwimFan" on Thursday night so I can review it for Monday's edition:
BOTTOM LINE: Doesn't live up to expectations
wait for the DVD/Video

I thought it was good actually for what it was . .. The last 20-30 minutes of the movie were pretty intense. I kind of felt for him cheating on his girl . . and suffering those consequences. You should all take your boyfriends to the movie . . . scare them into monogamy Kind of like what Fatal attraction did for married men.

Almost all movies are predictable.

I have read some stuff on movie theory and they don't want to be too unpredictable actually. They lose more audience members than they gain.

Who say "My Best Friends Wedding?" With the JUlia something chick?

Anyway, they say a lot of audience members felt betrayed because she didn't get the boy back in the end.

They didn't develop Cameron Diaz's character enough for anyone to feel all that sympathetic to her except as the Plight-ofAll-Women.

I just got back from seeing this movie. I actually liked it! I cant wait for it to come out on DVD so i can buy it. I have always liked the teenage, girly movies so I was pretty sure i'd like this movie before i even saw it.

Maybe not all of you will like it, but i sure did!
Plus, yeah the girl is psycho but she has pretty hair

See this is where both men and women go wrong: trying to figure each other out. IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!! We can't even figure OURSELVES out, half the time, lol.

Replying to whomever mentioned Blue Crush:

I didn't plan on seeing this until I read the raving reviews in my local newspapers. I'm SO glad that I did go see it! It was really a fun movie, definitely a great bonding movie for us girls.

XOXO,
Annie.

I thought Blue Crush's plot was a little underdeveloped.. even for a teeny-bopper movie. But it was a good idea and the surfing was SO cool...

I want to see Swim Fan too... I always drag my friends to the teen movies.

Where did that come from??????
Hmmmm, well i watched the movie, and wanted to comment on her hair. what is wrong with that?

What does that have anything to with anything????????
well the topic is about swimfan, i commented on liking the movie, and also wanted to tell everyone that i think she has really pretty hair. Its just like saying jesse bradford is hot, which he is, or me saying whatever other comment about the movie.

one difference between men and women.....
men would never ever say that that guy was good looking or he had a nice haircut, women on the other hand dont care about saying things like that, maybe because we are more secure about ourselves

Now I pose a question to you James, why did you feel such a need to ask why i made that comment?
