Bars/Clubs in Vegas
MrRedRose and I are headed to Vegas later this month with two friends. I saw that a lot of clubs have VIP packages which include "front of the line" passes and some combination of a bar tab, bottle service, or tables. It seems like a pretty good deal when you factor the cost of cover and drinks.
I've only been to Vegas once before and didn't get to hit a lot of nightspots. Does anyone have some recommendations? I like classy, unique clubs that play danceable music (although chill/lounge is cool, too). Any recommendations?

I had friends try to go to Rain (the club at the top of the Palms hotel) and ended up at Rah (somewhere in the Luxor.)
She said it was worth it.

Granted I haven't been in years, but I thought Studio 54 in the MGM Grand was fun.

I like RA and Studio 54. I heard that there is a kick ass club at the Palms.
Also you can't go wrong at Hard Rock Hotel if ya wanna party

I went to Rain at the Palms in May for a Bachelorette party. It was crowded, but the best club that I've ever been to. The music was excellent. A good crowd etc.
If you go, you should also check out the Ghost Bar for the view.

They played a wide variety from Pop to hip/hop to 80s pop and rock. It was very danceable...no trance, electronic etc.

Body English at the Hard Rock is really fun for dancing. I don't particularly like Rain...I think it's overrated and too crowded. I do, however, LOVE Ghostbar. So fun...especially if you get yourself a table. Light at the Bellagio is also really cool...good combo of a bar and club. There's also a place at Caesar's but I'm drawing a blank about the name...but some friends of mine have been and said it was fun.
If you can, definitely try to get on the list anywhere you want to go. It's totally worth it so you don't have to deal with the hassle of lines!

I am not a "bar or club" kind of person, but Mr. Silver and I really enjoyed Curve in the Alladin. It was mellow with different rooms for different environments and very nice furniture.

I believe that's where we're staying, so I'll have to check that out. Sometimes it's nice just to chill out.
