RUSH from SHSU !!!!
So RUSH starts tommorrow here at Sam Houston State University. I am so stoked ... I cant wait to meet all the girls. I dont know anyone from my school here so I am trying to make friends. I met this one girl who is also RUSHing who lives in my house and she doesnt know anyone who goes here either. So we have befriended each other. Anyway (back to the subject) The sororities on my campus are:
Alpha Chi Omega
Alpha Delta Pi
Tri Sigma
Zeta Tau Alpha
My new friend and I were at some Wlecome Week functions and met some girls in Tri Sigma and they were soooo nice and the reason she actually decided to RUSH. I cant wait to meet the other girls.
Our first event is tommorrow it is a manditory meeting for anyone who signed up to RUSH. I think it will be a general introduction into the rules and whatnot and when we are asigned our groups and Recruitment Counselors.

hey GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN! my roommate for adpi's leadership conference was the shsu chapter's president. she was the sweetest thing.... can't wait to hear how your rush goes!

I know several old alums from sororities at SHSU and they are all fantastic women! Good luck and keep us posted.

Yeah! Another rush thread! I'm SOOOO addicted to these! It sounds as if we should hear something either tonight or tomorrow about SHSU recruitment! Yeah! Plus finally a rush thread with a Tri Sigma chapter!

Well our first RUSH meeting is tonight at 700pm. I am soo excited!  I have met a lot of girls from Tri-Sigma already. They have really made an impression on me and formal RUSH hasnt even begun yet. I was talking to some of the Tri-Sigma girls and the mentioned how they were just as nervous about RUSH as we were...this is because they just colonized here at Sam Houston last semester. So they are really new on campus, but so far they are the only girls I have met from any of the sororities. But I am still keeping an open mind. I dont want to go in biased just because I have already met some people. I think that I want to see what they are all like before I even begin to try to select a group that I want to be apart of. I was just too excited about what is going on to wait until tonight to tell you guys what is happening (if that makes any sense)
