Yes we did, and it's been going great so far! The chapter consultants took 33 girls after the first interview session. At my campus, quota for each house is 120, so we're quite a way from there. But they wanted quality over quantity! We've had 2 informal rush activities, an ice cream social and a pumpkin carving get together - through those we've added about 20 more wonderful girls to our growing house :-) During homecoming week, every house is paired with a fraternity or two and they perform a skit - we tied for first! It has been an amazing first half of a semester! I love knowing that these women and i are creating our own image on campus. Learning about the traditions and everything is simply amazing! I am definitely convinced that i made the right decision by not signing my pref card during rush. Everything definitly happens for a reason!

Wink

This is wonderful news about the success of the DZ chapter at the University of Iowa.

I was the KKG Rush advisor while I was in Grad school at Iowa (Writer's Workshop).

It's really a wonderful Greek system, and I know that the new DZ chapter will be a super addition!

Go Hawkeyes!
