Family Assocations

About 4 years ago, I joined The Leftwich Historical Association which is based on the English Leftwich family from the 1600's. The majority of them first settled in the Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia area. For the past several years, they'd had a "family reunion" in VA each October. This Oct. I finally get to go to one in Bedford!! The first night is a "ghost viewing" at the local Leftwich graveyard!

Can't wait to meet my relatives! Some of them even live in Hawaii!

That would be so cool! I'm really into family history/genealogy and would love to get to meet other branches of my family! My branch is the only one that moved off the East Coast - someday I want to get out there and visit the towns my ancestors lived in!
