All of the subscription events are public events so a non-Delta (friend, family, spouse) can purchase a ticket now through a soror registering for the convention. That would include Collegiate and Social Action Luncheons, Gospel Concert, Step Show and Signature Gala - the exhibit hall is also open to the public, but they need to purchase a Guest pass, I'm not sure how much they will be this year.

a small caveat

Some of these events are still being finalized so please be aware that some dates and/or times may be subject to change. Also tickets will be sold to the public at the convention.

That information hasn't been announced yet. It's my understanding that things are still being finalized. The Convention Coordinator is positive that those in attendance will be more than pleased.

Here is the long awaited news: The Signature Gala artist is Patti LaBelle and the Gospel Concert will be headlined by Richard Smallwood and Vision.

Talking TTT

Fellow Greeks and Friends,
If you live in Atlanta or are going to be visiting Atlanta during the time of the Delta national convention, please put the DELTA sponsored events at the top of your social list.

If you love gospel music, attend the Gospel Concert on Sunday night, July 21,8-10pm at Philips Arena, with Richard Smallwood and Vision. I promise you will be in for a spiritual treat.

If you want to see a great concert, come to Patti, Patti, Patti on Monday, July 22, 8-10pm also at Philips.

And of course there is the Step Show on July 20, 9pm-midnight--need I say more about this?

For you literary lovers, there will be a FREE Literary Cafe on July 23, 7:30-9:30pm at the Georgia World Congress Center. Come out and hear authors such as Pearl Cleage and Tina Ansa read from their works and sign books.

And that's not all. See Kelli's post for all of the public events including Club Delta every nght at 10:00pm.

See you there!

Sounds like you guys are about to have a ball. I need to call my cousin (whose a member of your sorority) and ask her if she's going. She lives in Atlanta so I don't see why she wouldn't.
