Doh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had to share my Doh! moment. So I'm having a situation with the boy where he isn't speaking to me. So I wrote this email and said that if he didn't read it by this morning, I'd unsend it (gotta love AOL). Well, instead of unsending, I deleted. Now I don't know if he's read it. So, I just screwed myself out of my next action step. What a way to start the weekend.

I have done the same thing.....deleting instead of unsending. It is a real pain in the butt when you no longer know if the e-msail has been read or not. But there is no changing the deletion of the e-mail.

Hope everything works out!

I've been told that if I try accessing deleted email from my home computer that I may be able to unsend it. Thankfully he has a golf league tonight so I should have some time. The plan is to call him after golf (somewhat stalker-ish but who cares). Wish me luck boys and girls!

(Sidebar, this is the first time I've screwed up this bad. If he does speak to me, I'm sure a lot of "I told you sos" will be used)

If its that important to you, I'd just send him another one with a diff subject so he won't think its the same one if he already read the first. In the new e-mail say that your system went down/line got disconnected while you were sending so you don't know if it got through or not, so you redid it.
