Gamma Chi Is For EVERYONE: Message From Public Relations
Recently there have been some concerns that if one becomes involved with Gamma Chi that they cannot hold membership in their current organization or one that they hope to become involved with one day. There may also be such concerns that Gamma Chi might exclude certain groups, because issues discussed might not be ones that their organization has concerns for. Let us just state for a FACT that Gamma Chi is for everyone no matter whether you are involved in an NPC, NPHC, NIC, Local, MCGLO, Service, Honorary, Professional , Academic Greek organization or not involved in a Greek organization at all but have an interest in Greek Life. The purpose of Gamma Chi is exactly what its mottos state:

Belonging to any greek organization we all have common concerns and goals ranging such as Hazing, Alcohol/Drug use, Academics, Stereotypes, Keeping Numbers, Alum Involvement etc. Gamma Chi is more of a Conference organization that brings EVERYONE together to discuss these issues from the view of Greeks as a whole rather then by organization or conference. Most know that Greek Life (numbers and way of life) have been declining for years. Gamma Chi is a way to generate solutions to this and Greek unity as a whole. To educate ourselves and others (especially GDI's) on why Greek Life is positive and still holds a purpose in today's society. It is a way from keeping something that we all treasure on here from going exstinct.
There are many people who using their own time and are hard at work trying to build up this organization and get it going, so please be patient with us and please do not mock. This is something very serious to many people. If you feel that your organization could be left out, then please by all means notify us so that we can do something to include you in it. The only way you can we can all help each other is if YOU become involved.
As stated whether you are a Delta Zeta, Kappa Alpha Psi, PIKE, Clio, Alpha Phi Omega, Triangle, Zeta Sigma Chi, or GDI you can be a member of Gamma Chi. The membership DOES NOT hurt membership with your organization as Gamma Chi is an internet-based organization. It is like being a Delta Sigma Phi and belonging to the NIC. You can be in BOTH. And if you feel that your organization will not gain anything or that this is waste of time, please reconsider and help us to make it worth your time. We as individuals first and organizations second are the only ones who can make a difference in Greek Life.
