Today I was reading a local magazine when I ran across an article about speaking out against Roy Moore (The Chief justice of the Alabama supreme court) that reads as the following:
"Down what path is Roy Moore's "leadership" taking us?"
First for the Jews- "I believe to-day that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the ALMIGHTY CREATOR. In standing guard against the Jew I am defending the handiwork of the Lord . . . . The result of this war will be the ANNIHILATION of the Jewish race." -Adolf Hitler/Dictator of Germany
Next African Americans-"Genocide and forbidding of mixed marriages were not the only means utilized in THE BIBLE to protect the bloodline. . . . Serparation or segregation is also clearly advocated." -David Duke/Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.
Now Homosexuals- "Homosexual behavior is . . .an inherent evil. . . .The state carries the power of the sword, that is, the power to prohibit conduct with physical penalties, such as CONFINEMENT AND EXECUTION. It must use that power to prevent the subversion of children toward this lifestyle. . . ." Roy Moore/Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court
After that, the advertisement gives you numbers to call if you want to speak out about Moore's views.
My point is this sorors and others, How do you feel about what you just read? Do you think that it is fair for the plight of the Lesbian/Homosexual to be compared to the plight of the Jew and the African-American? How do you feel about the struggle that lesbians and homosexuals go through in their daily lives? Of course I have my own opinion, but I think I'll save mine for last.
Are the holocaust, slavery, and homosexuality the same?
