best date.
There was a thread on your worst date experience, but what was your best date?
Mine was a sorority date party. We went on a booz cruise on a replica Mississippi paddle boat. It was the best time.
Anyone have any suggestions for places to go or things to do on a date?

Short, evening cruise around a harbor. Include onboard dancing, drinks, appetizers, and you've got a really nice evening.

Its a tie. Choice #1 would be a date I went on with a guy I was going out with pretty regularly. We cooked dinner out on the grill on my deck and ate outside. We walked down to the dock (I live on the lake) and spread a blanket out and drank and talked an drank and talked then went skinny dipping
Choice #2 would be a day I spent with another guy who I had been dating for about a year. I went with him and his 3 roomates to a park near his apartment in Macon GA. We had a huge picnic lunch and just spent a lazy day hanging out, playing frisbee and napping under a tree and swinging on the swingset.

My first date with Josh, which was my first date ever was the best. We went to a movie (In and Out) and afterwards went to this coffee shop. But instead of getting coffee we walked down the street to this little park. A wedding was going on in the gazebo, and we watched it from afar. That night, he told me he loved me. And we've been saying it ever since

My best date was with my current boyfriend. He woke me up really early one morning and told me to put on a pair of clothes that I didn't mind getting dirty. So, 30 minutes later I was out the door and in his car and I had no clue where we were going. We started heading west on I-4 when I exclaimed, "WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY!!!!" I had been telling him about how I hadn't been to Disney since Grad Night which is weird because I've lived right by it for the past 3 years. It was so much fun. I felt like I was 11 years old again.

Best date ever: my 1st date with my boyfriend:
The night my boyfriend 1st asked me out, we were hanging out playing a game of pool and talking. At this time the Vancouver Symphony of Fire (fireworks) was going on. He was telling that he got to watch them from his dad's boat and how cool it was being out in the water. Well I love sailboats and being on the water and the one thing I always wanted to do was watch the fireworks in the middle of English Bay instead of hanging out on the beaches (which is also pretty cool). So anyways he called me a couple of days later to set up a date and he asked me if I wanted to go out on the boat and watch the fireworks... that's was too cool , and it was an amazing date.

I had so many great times in both high school and college, I don't know how in the world I could possibly pick one as the best.
Fond memories.

My first official date with my fiance. He took me to the Melting Pot (fondue place) then to see Little Shop of Horrors at the Alley Theater and then to Amy's Ice Cream (sort of a hip ice cream place in Houston). Then he dropped me off at the DZ house.
What's funny is that we wore almost the exact same shirt. You know those sort of cobalt blue shirts that used to be really popular, the buttoned down ones, well he wore one of those and I wore a sort of tailored version of that. It was funny! And it was NOT on purpose. That would be way too cheesy for us!

Oh yeah...I forgot.
The shirt I mentioned somehow popped open in the car on the way to the theater. The shirt was not ill-fitting by any means, however, I think it must have popped open (just one button in the boob area) when my seatbelt went accross it. I said "oh my gosh!" and closed it and he was all like "what happened". I thought he had really seen it and was playing dumb, but to this day, he still insists that he had no clue!!!!! Ha!!!
