Lightbulb American Music Awards' FAN CHOICE AWARD

http://abc.go.com/primetime/specials/ama/polls.html

AMA WANTS YOUR CHOICE
Go online and cast your vote for Fan's Choice Award.

*Are you sick and tired of those award shows that claim they're for the people, yet the people don't get to chose who wins? Well, the 29th Annual American Music Awards is asking the public to cast their votes via the Internet and name their favorite musical artist of the past year.
Results of the voting for the "American Music Awards'
Fan's Choice Award" will be revealed during the live telecast
of the awards special, which airs Wednesday, January 9 on
the ABC Television Network. The nominees were determined
by a blue ribbon panel.
On the TV special, awards will also be presented to the
past year's elite contemporary music in the areas of Pop/Rock,
Country, Soul/Rhythm & Blues, Alternative Music, Adult
Contemporary Music, Rap/Hip Hop, Latin Music, Contemporary
Inspirational and Soundtrack, as determined by a poll
of the American record-buying public.
Members of the public wishing to cast their votes can do so
at: http://abc.go.com/primetime/specials/ama/polls.html
Voting is now open and will conclude on January 9.

GOOD,BAD UGLY AMA's and Micheal Jackson's Special.

IF anyone watched the AMA'S OR MICHEAL JACKSON'S SPECIAL,
WHAT are your Good, Bad, and uglys' of the two specials. Personally I was sick of seeing Destiny's child, acting like they didnt' know that they weren't going to get the second award.
Chris tucker looked so Exquisite, on the AMA's, Usher was really good.
Chris tucker dancing was a trip on the MJ special. They could've left Britneys appearance out, But her Stilleto's were tight. And was it me or was one of micheal's brother's trying to out do him on stage. ANNNNNNNNNNND was I the only one that did the dance moves to beat it, when he performed it. ha ha ha I couldn't believe I still remember the moves, it's been 17 years since that video came out, and i still know AND CAN DO the moves. LMAO!!!!!!

Thumbs down American Music Awards

American Music Awards
This kinda fits into the topic. Who all saw the AMA last night?

Britney Spears FLUNKED (thumbs down). The girl absolutely can't sing. I will say this much, she looked nice being fully clothed!

Yolanda Adams turned it out!!! I was totally proud of her

I loved how the Backstreet Boys introduced their new talent...she put it down. Did you all see how Destiny's Child was looking at her while she was singing????

Destiny's Child is good, but they FRONTED last night. Those girls know good and well that they were going to win between NSync and Jagged Edge.

Lastly, I believe that MUSIQ should have won best New Artist (Competitors: Alicia Keys, Blu Cantrell, and Musiq). It was a tight competition, but Alicia Keys racked up on everything.

Any comments????

I didn't get to watch the entire program because I was flipping back and forth between that and the MJ special. The thing that stood out the most is that the Chicago pimp Don Juan was there and in the front row! I couldn't believe it when Puffy brought him on stage!

Did anyone else notice that Michelle's (from Destiny's Child) pants kept falling down when they went to get their first award? I didn't get to see it when Aaliyah won. Who received the award for her?

I really would like to see them replay it because I missed most of it.

MJ Special and AMA

The MJ special was a re-broadcast from 3 weeks ago. I think it was done to compete against the AMA. It did look as if Marlon was trying to do a little upstaging But I loved the reunion. And I liked N'Sync teaming with the Jacksons on Dancing Machine. Whitney looked like a walking skeleton and Michael looked--well what can I say that hasn't already been said.

The AMA, in my opinion, was horrible except for a very few moments like Yolanda Adams. Was the Coca Cola new artist performance supposed to be a joke? And what was the deal with MJ at the end?

Yeah girl, Britney Can NOT sing. I was listening to her and I was like, who in D hell, granted her a contract. If that's the case let me call puffy. LOL I was flipping between both shows, because it takes a lot to keep me entertained, When I heard her singing, with micheal, I was like, the way you make me feel..... You make me feel like charging you for some voice lessons. LOL As for DC they are over doing it too much with letting michelle do all the talking, and all of this i love you beyonce i love you kelly and michelle has got to go, that's what she said to latoya, and latavia, and you see what happened to them. LOL Do you know that all though Tina Knowles designs their clothes, Critics consideres them to be the worst dress entertainers What was up with micheal, when he said, Can you hold this for me???
then pulls out his lists of people to appreciate, which only had 5 WHOLE NAMES ON IT. Is his memory going too???? LOL I got a kick out of that. (but the man can still jam) Am I the only one that thought alicia dressed ALRIGHT, even thought she had to get rid of that hat?? (but she can still sang)
