Missing open houses for Army FTX's, still possible getting a bid?

I am an incoming freshmen at the University of Colorado Boulder and am a contracted Army ROTC cadet. However, I have Field Training Exercises during the one of the weekends of formal rush, specifically during the weekend of the fraternity open houses. I will be in a different state training and won't be at the school at all that weekend. It is the weekend before all of the preference nights but still late enough in the week for me to make an impression. Do you think that if I attend enough informal rush events and meet enough of the brothers during these events and part of formal rush week, that I have a chance of being considered a for a bid? I know I have to be upfront with the members about my involvement in the Army, but I also want to create the best chances possible for me to receive a bid.

Thanks for your thoughts.
