Founders' Day Ideas

I am helping to plan a Founders' Day event for our local chapters. I would like to know what other chapters do. Ours is usually held in a conference room at a hotel, with lunch and dessert provided. We usually have a guest speaker/sisterhood awards/local scholarships from the collegiate chapters. Any other ideas?
