Agreed. Madonna is an icon. Janet just isn't there.
I DO expecct to see Lady Gaga fall in Madonna's footsteps, though. I'm sure she will still be performing in thirty years.

I don't get what's up with lady gaga. Is she having some kind of seizure? Seriously, "gagaga lalala" doesn't count as lyricism. Not even close. Not even technichaly.
