Intermurals
Who plays intermurals, what sports, and how is everyone doing this season?
We got annihilated in football last night. There is no sorority league, so we play in the all-women's league. The team we played against had a coach, a playbook, and a corporate sponsor.
Some of the girls weren't even wearing flags because they couldn't fit them around their waists.
I am in so much pain..........

We just won our 7th consecutive flag football championship yesterday which is number 11 for us in our 12 year existence as a chapter here.
I play soccer and we won our game on thursday 6-0, I netted two, one of which was a nice little upper v shot. It wasn't that great of a victory, they were just miserable, but we didn't try to run the score up, I mean, early we played hard, but most goals came from playing around with it, then being like 'okay, let's score now' boom, goal. Also, I'm going to head coach SK's team this year, I think, starting today.
I'm probably going to do cross-country and track this year too. Last year in the cross-country meet, my big bro beat 2nd place by over a minute, and they only had to run like 2 miles! He's good though, he's a triathlon-er. We didn't win it all though cause he was the only one to show because we knew he'd win. I just spectated. Oh well. I ran track my frosh year, and won my events, but didn't want to do it last year, but figure I should this year again, plus I'm back in decent shape.

Sports
We have won all sports the last couple years at my school. This year we have already won the overall university intramural football championship, and now our team has the option of going to florida or maryland to play in a invitaional nation wide tourney.

Are you guys actually going to go? Have you been before? We (not me, I don't play) get invited every year but never go. Is it actually good competition though?
I love intramurals though, last year we retired the overall intramural trophey because if you win it a certain numbers of times in a row, you get to actually keep it rather than passing it. Namely our football team though is just amazing. We've only lost 3 games in 12 years, once in the finals 7 years ago, once this year with our frosh QB and one other time long before me.

Football - in tackle we haven't lost in over 5 years. We've got a big DG football tourney coming up in a few weeks, i'll fill you in on the results. We also play flag, but the team lost earlier in the season and looks to finish third out of the loser's bracket . . . tough.
Hockey - we have floor and ice hockey teams . . . i play on both. We're dominant in floor hockey, but in ice hockey there's some guys (grad students) who played college hockey, a couple even D-I candidates. So we're middle of the pack, even with a bunch of us who played in high school.
Basketball - the 3 on 3 team is currently in season, and is 5-0 so far. The 5 on 5 team is pretty solid too. I'm 5'7", so i don't play. That's all you need to know.
Soccer - led by our former BU varsity star (ok he walked on, but he's good), the team is like 3-1, i think they'll end up pretty good though.
Overall, football is by far our best sport, but we play a little of everything.
