Big Sis Week
Next week is Big/Lil week! I'm so excited! All the old members have been teasing us new members cuz they already know who our Big Sisses are!!! Next week we have 2 check the chapter room every day for gifts, and they said our Bigs will leave us notes trying to fool us about who they are. Then Thursday is Big/Lil Ceremony where we find out. I can't wait!!!

ZetaLuvbunny, you are so cute!! I miss the big sister days!! I talked to my little sister yesterday and it is so neat that we can go weeks without talking(she is still in school and I am done, so our schedules are so different) and in a second, we are talking mile a minute, laughing hysterically, and basically being reminded why we are such a good big/little pair. One word of advice, though(and I think this has been said before)--your big sis need not be your best friend or your soul mate. She is just someone you know you can turn too. There are people I am closer to than my little sister, but there is also no one else I would have wanted to have that title other than Jess. And also realize that when you get a big sis, you get a family. Make sure you get to know your grandbigs and great grandbigs, too! I was actually closer to my grandbig during college than my big sis. Just the way it works! Have so much fun and be sure and tell us how they tell you who it is!!!

AWWW!
How sweet! Yesterday, my big left me a cute basket that she painted with nailpolish on...it says "Your Big Sis Loves You" and "ZTA" all over it. Inside is strawberry EVERYTHING: shampoo, conditioner, bath stuff, foamy kiddy soap , air freshener spray, car air freshener (although I don't have a car LOL), lip gloss, jello, candle, strawberry shortcake pen, and even strawberry applesauce! I also got a cute ZTA ribbon tied to the basket. Awww! This week is great! I can't wait to find out who my big sis is!!! (find out Thursday) We get stuff every day until then. Yaay!

Today I got another little basket that was decorated. In it was a ZTA mouse pad that had a disk w/a ZTA screen saver on it, a Princess cell-phone cover, a little stuffed bunny, a ceramic bunny cup, another cup that was paint-penned, lots of candy, and a little wind-up bunny that hops around LOL!
I think I know who my big sis is now, but I'm not sure! I thought I was sure earlier today, but now I'm confused again LOL. This is driving me crazy not knowing, but I'll find out Thursday, so it's all good! Apparently my big sis has taken twinzies because another new member has recieved very, very similar stuff from her big sis, and I know several old members have had to take more than one new little (because us new members outnumber the old). Hmm....

It's possible she took twins. It's also possible that the girls are trying to keep ya'll confused.
Enjoy the rest of the week! Oh, at revealing it's always cool to have a small gift (at least some flowers) for your big.

What would be a good little gift for your new big sis at revealing? I can't think of anything that she might not have...like keychains etc. Any ideas??

First of all, HI AOPiQT! I love when there are other AOTT's on here--drop me a line and tell me about you! Second, your big sis will LOVE anything you give her, but if you are a creative, I always likes frames that said "I love my big". You can do that, even if you don't know her name yet! And my little sister, when we did find out each other, used to make me cookies(the real simple ones that have the design in the middle) about once a week. Of course, I ate way to many but it was still so much fun to come home and have a plate of cookies and a little note sitting on my front porch! Hope that helps!

I KNOW!
I know for sure who it is now. It's too long of a story to explain, but I figured it out on my own through simple investigation (LOL), although she does not know that I know. That makes it even better, because next Tuesday is *her birthday*, and I already know what I'm going to give her! A week ago, I was looking on Ebay and saw this adorable plack and so I just had to order it! I got it in the mail today, and it ends up there are two of them, so I can give one to her and keep one for myself. The plack is wooden, and has a front on it with a white background and turquoise border that reads, "We're not sisters by birth, we knew from the start. God put us together to be SISTERS in heart! ZTA." I know she'll just LOVE it!!!
It is things like that that I would much rather get anytime---things that have meaning, than expensive things. Anyhow, as far as I know, there isn't a tradition of lils giving presents to bigs for the ceremony, but I can ask someone to find out for sure. But yes, she has three littles now, and her "old" little has a little. Our "family" is HUGE. JUST at school *right now* is my grand big, my my grand big's two other littles, my big, my big's two other littles, one of my big's other little's little, and moi. LOL! That makes EIGHT of us. Cool, huh? We could have a family party LOL. I think it would be a neat idea (cuz I've seen other people post this on here somewhere) to make a family tree scrapbook for all of them for Christmas...one with pictures and everything!
Oh well...I'm just luv being all creative & stuff LOL. Next year will be really fun when I get a little sis. BTW, what are some names for other "relatives" ex: like how your bigs other littles are your twinzies or triplets....what would you call your big's twin? etc LOL sorry I'm just typing away today...

UPDATE
Okay, it's been at least a week since I've posted anything on here. I've had a lot of tests and quizes and other stuff going on lately. Anyhow, the third day I was given various little things, as well as a hand-me-down Rush shirt, and a pretty stitch-lettered long-sleeved shirt. On big/lil night, the ceremony took forEVER (as all the ceremonies do), but afterwards I was given MORE presents---a cute painted glass vase, a koosh-ball bunny, a paper crown, and various other things. Some girls got their lavaliers that night, but I didn't get mine yet :*(
Afterwards, we all ate at one girl's house, and then went home. It was fun! At meeting Sunday, I gave Stacey (my big) her early birthday present...with a card that has her picture on it (I scanned it) and I put a crown on her on this card program. Then it says "to the queen of all big sisters". She loved it!
Well, n.e.way, I'd better go recite the creed, because we have to officially have it memorized by tomorrow. Then we have Fall Break! WOO-HOO!!!

Oh, anyway...I found out the family tree goes like this:
My grand-big
big's twin #1 My big big's twin #2 big's twin #3
big's twin's big's little #1, me, and my twin
five littles!
big's twin's big's little #1's
little's little two littles
So basically...my grandbig has four littles, and two of them have littles (my "aunt" has five littles, and one of them has a little, and my big has three littles--including me---and her first little has two new littles)
LOL, confusing, huh?
