New Year's Eve- Last year and this year

So, I was thinking about what to do for New Year's Eve this year and I thought about what I did last year. I was partying in Miami Beach on the beach. Not sure what to do this year.

What did you do last year and what are your plans for this year?

Last New Year's was FABULOUS! My boyfriend has a bunch of friends who go to Sac State so I took the train up there to party with them. I think the house we went to was full of DGs, but everyone was super nice, and we had a blast. I love that group of friends, and I'm glad I got to be with my bf.

Weird you just posted this, because I was actually thinking about New Year's today. I imagine I'll be in Hollister because that's where my bf lives. Maybe we'll go up to Sac again? I dunno, Sac was fun!

You do know it's only October, right?

Every year, DH and I get together with another couple whom we know from college. Last year, we flew out to Chicago and spent a few days with them. This year, it's their turn to visit us. We have a few traditions: lots of board games, take-out sushi, at least one nice dinner out, and getting absolutely plastered on NYE.

I flew back to school because I was required to work New Year's Day. My flight landed at 10 pm NYE. I couldn't really go to any parties because I had to be at work by 6:45 am (well, I could have, but it wouldn't have been pretty) so I drove to church for the midnight service and was home by 12:15.

But THIS YEAR, I'll definitely be home!! My first NYE after moving back to my hometown. I'll either hit a party downtown with my cousin or head to San Franciso. Man, I miss the Bay Area. Hell, I miss living in a metropolitan area period. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO HOME!!!
