Inglorious Basterds

Saw it over the weekend...typical QT movie...mostly dialogue driven with violent sequences at the end of each scene...a bit long in the tooth but enjoyable nonetheless, needed a little bit more character development with some of the characters.

Those with short attention spans need not apply.

7.5 out of 10 stars

I'm usually not disappointed by Tarantino, so I'll be seeing this.

I'm surprised, though, that it's done as well as it has. The biggest complaint that I remember hearing about Grindhouse was that it was too long. This movie is only a bit shorter than GH, but people don't seem to mind.

It was long because of the 'double feature' gimmick.

This one was just long.

I was going to see it yesterday, but I decided not to. I just want to know is it a comedy or real history?

Mostly revisionist history....all fiction. Decent comedy
