Fox Chapel High School
Our Mascot: The Fox, of course!
Colors: Red and White
Graduating Class Size: 340 +
Fact: My high school is right across the river from AngelPhiSig's high school. I remember playing tennis against them. AngelPhiSig was probably in kindergarten at the time!

Great Neck South HS
Colors: Blue and orange
Nickname: Rebels
Graduating class: around 220
Back in the 50's, Great Neck HS was getting very overcrowded, so the school district built South Middle and High schools and renamed the existing schools North. Since South had "broken away" they became the Rebels. Since they were the Rebels, they had to have totally different colors from North - so they chose blue and orange, instead of the blue and orange North was using. Playing sports against North was therefore rather interesting. I remember a basketball game we played at North. Since we were the away team, naturally we wore our blue away uniforms. For some strange reason, North only had away uniforms. It's hard to know who to pass the ball to when the other team is wearing the same color uniform you are...!

I am a proud alumna of Stow High School (now known as Stow-Munroe Falls High School) which is home of the Bulldogs!!!!!!!!! Our colors were maroon and gold, and my graduating class was around 450......I think there were about 1600 students total. Much bigger now, the area has had a lot of development since then.

ya ll will laugh!
I went to Apple Valley high School in Apple Valley, California.
the one claim to fame about AVHS in the 1980s is that Cuba Gooding Jr went there when i was there in the 80s.
I was actually in drama class or club with him. he sure could break dance back then!
our colors were orange and black ( like halloween)
our Mascot was the Sundevil....now this is the sad but funny part....
we had in our town actually hollywood royality. Roy Rogers and Dale Evans lived there 'til their deaths. i knew their grand children. Anyway, they tried to change our mascots from the "Sun Devils" to ok bust out laughing now..."Happy Apples". we had the Los Angeles news stations crawling all over this and they filmed us at a pep rally where we were singing the alma mater. Get this the news ppl thought it would be funny to cut the singing part and make it look like we were worshipping the the devil face ( our mascot) on the gym wall.
so the sundevil and halloween colors made us out to be devil worshipers and almost made us into happy Apples.
HAPPY ending ....we kept the name and the mascot...we just painted a nicer more PC face of a sundevil on the wall of our gym and mascot stuff.
I Kid you not!!!!!!!!!!!

ROFL!!! Yup, we took our tennis seriously! I STILL swear during tennis; my husband refuses to play mixed doubles with me because he says I embarass him. Hmmm, my language embarasses a sailor; that CAN'T be good!
