What are you thankful for?

With the recent tragedies in New York and Washington D.C., a lot of people have become very thankful of the things they used to take for granted. Therefore, I was just wondering what are some of the things people now realize is small, but priceless. Well to start this off I am thankful to be an American!! I know this may sound corny but too many times us Americans take this for granted. We as Americans complain about a lot but have so much to be thankful for!!! Don't get me wrong there still is many injustices in our society but overall we live in the best country there is!

i am thankful for too many things to list individually. however, at the top of this list would have to be my relationship w/God. second would be the relationship w/my mother and a few other select people.

Thankful

As Stillwater stated, I am thankful for too many things to list, but I am going to list a few here. First and foremost, I am thankful to be a child of God. I am so thankful of God's love, mercy, and grace. Secondly, I am thankful for family. My defintion of family consists of blood-related and non-blood related. I am people oreinted, so I know for a fact, that I need "family" to survive. Third, I am thankful for my health. At times, I may think that I have the worst health problems known to man, but now I sit back and just thank God that I am alive and able to type this sentence on this computer at this very moment.
I would go on an on, but I am sure others need room to post
On a sisterly note, although you ladies are apart of my family, I am so thankful to have special Sisterfriends and loving Ladies Of Delta Sigma Theta in my cyber life. Thank you ladies, for all of your support, love, wisdom, and kind words.

I am thankful for seeing another day and there not being a broken link in my family. I lost a good friend of mine Sunday to black on black crime. He was shot and killed over a basketball game. And I am thankful for knowing him and him being a part of my life...RIP Anthony "Buddah" Bradley!!!!!!! I Love You!!!!!!!!!!

I am thankful for knowing GOD on a personal level. I'm also thankful for my beautiful daughter(she never ceases to amaze me! I can't imagine life without her.) and a loving/supportive family.

Since the recent tragedy, I've been able to do an even more serious reflection and evaluation of my life. I've realized that I unconsciously take advantage of the SIMPLE things in life (i.e. walking, talking, breathing, eating). I look at the news and see those people in other countries that are not as blessed. So, like others have said, I couldn't possibly list everything that I'm thankful for. But I will say that I'm mostly thankful for JESUS and the fact that He died on the cross for my sins. It may sound cliquish (?sp), but it's true.

I'm thankful first of all to God for all his blessings. (testify testify).
I'm thankful for my wonderful 4 year old son, that keeps me on my toes. My family, friends. I thankful that I am able to wake up in the morning healthy and go to a job that allows me to provide for myself and little one.
