I’d have totally forgotten without your reminder.

I kept giving him the benefit of the doubt, but I still had my suspicions, so I found out through his voicemail. That was like around the end of 2001ish/beginning of 2002ish? - my freshman year in college. So, back then a lot of people still had landlines, although cell phones had been coming in. But you could still call and check your messages.

I didn’t know his password, but I knew what his favorite number was. He was on the football team and I met him through cheerleading. The number on his jersey happened to be his favorite number, so when it asked me for his password, I just randomly guessed by putting his favorite number in twice to equal the four digit password. Bingo, it worked. Football players are really dumb, lol.

So, one of the girls on the cheer team hated me for some reason. He was cheating on me with her. The messages I heard were from her and the messages she left confirmed my suspicions. He lived in a fraternity house, so all the gifts he had given me, I put them all in a Hefty garbage bag and left it in front of his door. And that’s what happened.

That was when my eyes and ears became super wide open. From that point on, I could read a guy’s intentions a block away. At the time, I didn’t know what I wanted in a guy, but I knew what I didn’t want. I’ve always looked at my mistakes as learning tools. Because of that, he was a mistake I never repeated again.

Well, he should have been disqualified for violating the 14th amendment, but he wasn’t. So, what makes you think this would disqualify him? I mean, he’s supposed to be in prison, but he is not. Tell me what you think could disqualify him from anything.

What makes me mad about Liz Cheney is she voted for him the first time he ran for office. She’s a politician. If I could see he was unfit before he became “POTUS”, why couldn’t she see that, too? Notice, I put POTUS in quotes. I did that because he was never POTUS in my mind and in reality. He just had the title.

WIFLSRN: I’m thinking Donald Trump is going to claim he won the election before the final results. $5 bucks he does that, just to cause more problems.

Seventy-five!

And, more people wanting to vote were coming in thru the doors!

The Best News is: the women at the business where early voting occurs said many long voting lines have happened during these past few voting weeks

I had to get home by 530pm, so will return to vote tomorrow.

!
Just as long as you vote, and are voting for Harris and Walz, that’s all that matters. Even if you’re for the other side, just as long as you vote left this one time to help keep Trump out of that Oval Office. That’s all that matters.

LOOOOOOOOOL!! Wait, hold the hell up, CG. LMAO! If this is a joke to give me a good laugh, it’s working wonders. You literally guessed some numbers on the first try, and it let you in? Lol! I’m over here cracking the hell up at this whole story, all the way down to you putting all those gifts in a trash bag and leaving it all at his front door. I’ll bet he had a long wtf moment when he saw the bag, looked inside and saw all the gifts he bought you. It probably took him a minute to realize they were the same gifts he got you LOOOOL!

What’d he say after that? LMAO! You are a trip!

Of course not. They’re definitely not going to disqualify him. I was just asking a rhetorical question.

He’s already setting that up.

Speaking of SLEEP—or lack of—I’m losing so much because the minute my head hits the pillow, my mind goes to the ELECTION and all my worst fears take over. I do NOT want to live out my last years in the ruins of the democracy I grew up loving. It’s not just me—others I know are experiencing it too.

I WANT it to be over, but yet I’m AFRAID. Maybe you just have to be old enough to realize how wonderful it’s been to grow where people were decent to each other and we worked to GAIN rights, not have them TAKEN AWAY.

Any others in the same boat??

No, I am so serious. I’m not kidding. I mean, looking back on it now, yes, it’s hilarious. But back then, I was so mad.

I don’t remember him saying anything about the bag, but like you said, I’m sure he was like “Who left this bag of stuffed animals, lockets, candy, etc.?” - then he recognized the gifts, processed what just happened, and then he had a “WTF” moment, lol.

Omg! So it’s not just me. Dee posted that she isn’t sleeping either, but she hasn’t said if it’s because of the election or not. I think about it each day, and on top of that, I have a sick father-in-law. I never thought I’d see an election where I’m this worried. Usually, it’s like “Oh well, my candidate didn’t win.” But now I’m like freaking out at the thought of my candidate losing. And then I’m also scared of what will happen if she wins. Yes, I will be so happy to have VP Harris as POTUS, but I’m afraid of the backlash from Trump supporters that’s going to come from it.

WIFLSRN: I’m still in awe how this country can allow Trump to have another attempt at “leading” this country once again, after everything he’s done, and everything everyone has seen him do, which was absolutely NOTHING positive. How does this happen? My goodness this makes me SO ANGRY!

My anxiety is growing each day as it approaches. I don't think we're going to know anything on election day though. The waiting will be insufferable. I'm trying to find positive signs. I know several conservatives who voted Harris already. There was a guy with Trump signs on his lawn around the corner from me, from January 2020 until the felony convictions. Those signs are down now. He still has a sign that says "My governor is an idiot" (I love Big Gretch- I want her to be President), but the Trump signs are gone. He has two flags flying upside down.

Huge anxiety about that. My insomnia was over not getting a job I really hoped I would get an offer for. It was fully remote and would give me freedom to live where I want and travel where I want whenever I want. Actually, two jobs. I got the news early in the week but was so insanely busy that I didn't have time to process it. I had the worst week at work this week too. The week before was amazing and I got an award from the CIO for my work at a huge IT awards ceremony, but I really want to be free from going into an office.

But yes, very anxious about the election. Heading to TKEGuy's house for the rest of the weekend and going to see Simone Biles in Gold Over America on Sunday night my son and his fiance. Trying to not panic.

I just remember those 4 years of being outraged almost every single day something that was done or said by TFG. I can't deal with that again. I just can't.
