Why AKA hasn't endorsed Kamala Harris

Interesting discussion of how sororities and fraternities can and cannot work politically.

All Greek groups should refrain from out-and-out political statements, since in no way can they speak for all members. I can think of several NPCs that did and lost tons of money and even members who were in both parties.

carnation- I agree that all Greek groups should refrain from political statements.
. Do you recall any fraternities that have endorsed members in the 20th or 21st centuries. I can't think of any who did ie: As far as I know George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush were not endorsed by Delta Kappa Epsilon.

As a undergraduate brother of Alpha Phi Omega, I was actually surprised on how low key APO was on Bill Clinton as a candidate in the 1992 Fraternity magazine prior to the election. After he won there was a lot coverage.

As an alumnus, I certainly understand more. (Note, this is USA only, APO-Philippines like most of the Philippines GLOs works differently)
