I've seen the commercials, and it's a good idea, IMO, to use Queen Latifah because she's an attractive, 30-something woman. Many women get a boost in their buying power (better jobs, promotions) after turning 30. I'd think a woman in that age range is more relatable than a 20-something model type.
As an aside, I like seeing Queen Latifah as an endorser, along with Soror Star Jones, who I believe has done work for Saks Fifth Avenue's Salon Z in the past.
