And to be honest, I am still not allowed to watch Elimidate (or any other dating show where people act slutty) in front of her.
I have a feeling that my mother's restrictions were more related to what she found "tacky" than truly inappropriate. I was always allowed to watch 90210, Melrose Place, music videos, and Soul Train because that's what SHE likes to watch
