How long did you spend trying to get that ipod?
If you make $10/hr and work another 20 hours a week, you'd have an ipod in no time.
Either way you are "working" to get it. Nothing comes free.
And given that there are a ton of companies that sold personal info or used it in ways they weren't supposed to - large corporations in fact with much better reputations than this one - I wouldn't trust that.
Also there are a lot of companies doing this and some are outright scams so people should look into each one. Here is a sample article I found:
