Did you read this sentence that you wrote?
You just admitted that you cited "one instance of intolerance." One. That's all. Just one. What's the title of this thread? "any 'nice' conservatives out there?" The title of this thread implies a scope way beyond "one instance of intolerance."
As far as your statement that "I'm not one to accept random statements without reasons for them," that's exactly what you did when you used a sampling of "one instance of intolerance" to make broad, sweeping generalizations.

This is very simple if you know what Liberalism really is. The definition of it got corrupted in America early in the 20th century. Classical liberals are never fascist. Modern day American "liberals" often are. Do a search in this forum on liberals, and you'll see what I, and others have said.
