If the gal you're talking about is the gal I'm thinking about, then I think it's Amanda, the captain of the squad. If I remember correctly, she really wanted to go to the University of Nebraska, but decided to attend WKU. She was the one with the little sister on the squad who got hurt, right? She was so intent on continuing to cheer..I wonder what happened to her. She didn't seem like much of a pain on TV..but I guess things can change over a period of time. "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! I WAS ON MTV!"

FYI: I'm not an MTV freak. They played it over and over again late at night and for some reason I remember that episode from start to finish.
