I know how you feel!! I have have had this happen to me also. I felt that if I asked around, got his number, and called him that he would think I was stalking him.
But in fact I finally got up the nerve to say forget it I have to do something!! So I called him and when I did he told me that he was actually trying to get my number!! It was great. So best of luck with you emailing him!! Hope everything works out!
