But there are other things that NPHC are more secretive in...such was when you are joining the org ("pledging"). Generally it is common knowledge to those in the NPHC community that you don't tell anyone what organization your are joining. You let it be a surprise until your "coming out show" when you are introduced to the campus and community. Its been my personal experience that NPC/IFC orgs don't have that culture, and PNMs are quick to tell people what they are joining.

Well he used the term esoteric - which implies secret or select information... so I assumed that meant the discussion of secrets...
