Oh Darling1,

Your sister is definitely in my prayers. I can't offer any scripture, but I can say that when my daughter was diagnosed with MS we took the "let's be thankful it isn't xyz approach." In other words let's be thankful that it wasn't ovarian cancer or a brain tumor--all things the had tested for before they reached a diagnosis.

ETA: After reading more in SF, I realized the above sounds kinda lame. I think the improtant thing for you to do is to continue to comfort your sister.

Continue any research into her conditions and glean anything hopeful to pass along to her. As stated in SF, get your questions answered my the staff. Sometime medical staff can be reticent to answer questions, but keep pushing until you are statisfied The more you know, the better you will be in passing along reassurance to your sister.

Is Ava allowed to visit? I'll sure that sweetie puts a smile on her face.
