Yesterday at work we held a moment of silence for the people that had died on those jets, at the Pentagon, and in New York. It was really nice. One of the ladies said that she could see the explosion at the pentagon from our 11th floor. I work in Tysons Corner which isnt too far from the Pentagon.
My Dad who works for the Government new some people that were at the Pentagon that day. One women that died and another guy lived because he was getting coffee however when he went to get coffee the jet stripped his pants off when It crashed into the building. Theres quite a bit of people from my town that had family that worked there. It was so tragic. That day during the morning actually I had a major accident when I was driving north on I95. I was in the far left lane where this dump truck turns into that lane from the emergency lane. He decided to come in front of me(100 yrds at most) and go like 5 miles per hour. Well, I'm going 65 and I slam on my brakes. Theres no way to go left because of these huge barrels and there was another car on the right. So I plunged right into that dump truck. Thank God I had my seat belt on. But my head still hit the windshield and after I crashed into him he just kept on going north. All the traffic that was around sped up and passed me as I richoted all the right to the right emergency lane. Well, luckily I didnt hit anyone else but my glasses popped off when I hit the truck. So that was another thing. When I came to a stop smoke was blowing in my face and I couldnt get out of the driver side and had to pull myself out of the right side. I got out and luckily I just had some blood on my sleeve from a few cuts on my hand and I was a little light headed. Well the cop and fire squad got there 40 minutes later. None of the traffic stopped. My car was more than totalled. Well, the trucker definitely was no where to be found. My sister in law took me to the hospital. She is so awesome. Well, I got checked out and was given pain medicine and muscle relaxers. After that I go to the waiting room and see all that craziness on t.v..It all looked like WW3. Definitely a day to remember. My Dad said he heard about the incidents a half hour after each thing happened which was pretty tough for him. Really, it was a tough day for everyone I suppose. I just cant believe that the airlines pay people minimum wage to insure our lives are safe on flights. The government really needs to look into Federally Sworn Officers who are trained and competant to keep people away that shouldnt be boarding planes. Not rent-a-cop people or people that do not have the competancy to work that kind of job. On a lighter side, I was definitely touched to see so many flags on friday when I was driving to work again. My first day back and it was quite a sight. I had my polo sport shirt on with a little american flag going on it too.

God Bless America and may God judge accordingly those people that committed those horrible acts. Justice will be done. Those people that sponsored those acts do not know what kind of can of worms they just opened. They are now the hunted.
