Nah, it's because I volunteer with the Miss West Oahu/Honolulu/Leeward Pageant -- a prelim to Miss Hawaii. Girls like Jen usually start out with us and then they "cross over" to Miss Hawaii USA once their eligibility is almost up. Brook Lee did it in 1997 and she ended up winning Miss USA and Miss Universe.
