The main reason why greeks, social greeks in particular, get flack because they are exclusive.
IMO, I think excluding certain people for legitimate reasons is ok. For example, excluding someone because a 1.5 GPA. However, excluding people for illegitimate reasons is unacceptable.
For istance, excluding someone because they're "uncool" for whatever reason.
