I would like to see a statistical study by a government agency citing this very statement b/c I hardly believe it is true. In the century or so that NPHC and NPC/IFC and other types of GLOs that there are, chances are, there have been some African American people who have depledged at one point or another regardless of which umbrella organization you're talking about.
In fact, I would like to offer my own experience with a suitemate who pledged and later decided to depledge her NPHC organization.
