Difference between COB/COR and CR

As I understand it there is a difference between COB/COR and CR.

COB (Continuous Open Bidding) and COR (Continuous Open Recruitment) are used interchangeably. This is a process used by chapters at schools with formal or fully-structured recruitment when they have spots they need to fill. COb/COR refers to events that take place outside formal recruitment but formal recruitment DOES happen at that campus.

CR (Continuous Recruitment) is a style of recruitment endorsed by NPC (the three styles are fully structured, partially structured and continuous recruitment) whereby recruitment is a continuous process for all groups on campus. Formal recruitment does not exist on that campus at all.

Hope that makes sense!
