In the interest of avoiding all the work that is growing into a mountain on my desk, I've decided to waste time her on GC (which is a guilty pleasure all in itself). So, in addition to some of the others already listed (Harry Potter and the Narnia books of which I'm on my 3rd set since I've worn the other out), here are some of my quilty pleasures...
My #1 Favorite Guilty Pleasure: Staying in my pajamas as late as possible on a Saturday morning, enjoying my coffee and watching Discovery Kids shows on NBC (I have no cable or I'd spend my time watching TLC and the History Channel). My favorite show is Endurance, the kids version of Survivor! Keep in my that I am THIRTY YEARS OLD, so this is sad!
Buying ridiculous pointy toed shoes with fun high heels that kill my feet by the end of the day but look fabulous
Books are an extreme guilty pleasure of mine! In addition to Narnia and HP books, I'm totally addicted to re-reading Pride & Prejudice (and watching the A&E double-disc DVD set I have of it featuring Colin Firth), as well as science fiction books by Robert Heinlein.
I guess that's enough of an extra-special, disturbing glance into my life!
