From the 1999 edition of The Green Book:
"Rush" was replaced with "membership recruitment";
"Rushee" was replaced with "potential member";
"Pledges" was replaced with "new members";
"Preference card" was replaced with "Membership Recruitment Acceptance".
Just as a side note, at my campus, the first three have become our first choice for terminology- I wouldn't call it rush unless I was talking to someone who has limited sorority knowledge. However, I would still use the word "preference card".
ETA: The term "suicide" in regards to Membership Recruitment Acceptance is now known as Single Intentional Preference, or SIP for short.
Although the 1999 edition of The Green Book still refers to COB, or Continuous Open Bidding, I have recently heard CR used (Continuous Recruitment). I am not sure if this is a new "official" term.
